1. Our Commitment to Copyright
World of Tabs respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Guitar Pro tablature files hosted on this Service are user-contributed and/or publicly available transcriptions. World of Tabs does not claim ownership of any musical compositions, lyrics, or recordings. All original works remain the property of their respective copyright holders.
2. Reporting Infringing Content
If you believe that content available through World of Tabs infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. To be valid, your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- Identification of the copyrighted work(s) you claim has been infringed (e.g. song title, artist name, and any relevant registration information);
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it on the Service (e.g. the URL of the specific tab page);
- Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
3. How to Submit a Takedown Notice
Send your DMCA notice by email to our designated copyright agent:

We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and aim to remove or disable access to the infringing material within 5 business days of receiving a complete and valid notice.
4. Counter-Notice
If you believe that material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected]. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice, unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, World of Tabs will disable access for users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
